This role will focus on bringing funding into WNC from a range of external funding sources to support delivery of projects and programmes in the community that align with the councils community focused priorities. Funding opportunities to support community cohesion and wider determinants will serve as a primary focus.

What will you be doing?
You will lead and submit funding bids, collaborate with internal and external colleagues, and ensure all submissions meet targets and milestones. Additionally, you will research potential funding sources, liaise with VCSE organisations, and provide guidance on grant applications.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role should have experience preparing and submitting funding applications, ideally within a local government setting, managing projects to demanding deadlines, and a proven track record of securing external funding from various sources. They should be a proactive team player who can work constructively with both internal and external partners.
