We are looking for an Accountant to join our friendly, welcoming, and supportive Finance Team.

The Accountant will be part of the Technical Accountancy team that provides both corporate accounting and financial services to the Council. The post will support the Corporate Accountant in monitoring of the capital programme and capital financing, assist with the preparation of the annual statement of accounts and the preparation of financial returns.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with the drive and commitment to support the Council’s move towards its objective of becoming Financially Sustainable.

You should be a fully qualified CCAB Accountant or AAT with at least 5 years accountancy experience.
